Homecoming week for East View. This week we play the Marble Falls Mustangs.  This is our first district games and all of the games from here on out count toward the District Championship and our playoff position. Marble Falls returns as a District Foe after a two year absence.  We split the games with Marble Falls during those years, one win, one loss.

2018 Notes from Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Magazine

It's been a decade (2007) since the Mustangs posted a winning record. Birdwell believes a large group of returning starters could leave its mark. QB Stripling should take a big step in his third season at the helm, and fellow underclassmen RB Mayberry and WR Sapp should be his favorite targets. LB Feam starts for the third year, teaming up with LB Van Hoose to anchor a defense that must contend with high-scoring offenses of Brenham, East View and the like.
