This week we play the Brenham High School Cubs. Brenham is new to our District for 2018-19.  East View has played Brenham in the playoffs once, losing a thrilling game to them 35-30.  Brenham welcomes a new Head coach in 2018 as coach Eliot Allen takes the reins of the cub program.

Coach Allen takes over a program rich in tradition and expectations - the Cubs have made the playoffs each year since missing out in 2003. If that success is to continue, the Cubs must find a new crop of play makers. WR/DB Gilmore and RB/LB Jackson will take on more featured rolls and will benefit from work done in the trenches by OLs Mathis and Fritz. LB Watts leads an athletic defense that will also rely on LB Howk and DBs McClain and McCowen.
